Our mop sinks are specifically designed to help service providers or your janitorial personnel work using mops without the struggle of trying to adapt to smaller bathroom sinks or to use kitchen facilities which were not designed for such. Because mop sinks are specifically designed for mop use, there is no cross-contamination of food or food preparation surfaces, as when a standard kitchen sink is used for the same purpose.
Drains of mop sinks are also better able to handle mopping service needs, versus regular sink drainage. Mop sinks can be manufactured in a standard square or rectangular shape, or designed to fit flush within a corner.
Mop sinks can be floor mount designed for use at just above floor level. This alleviates any physical strain of lifting heavy mop buckets for dirty water disposal or filling with water. With a floor sink, there is no strain of stooping and bending at risk of injury to clean, rinse, or sanitise mops, buckets and other floor cleaning equipment. Floor mounted sinks also help prevent cross-contamination of other adjacent kitchen surfaces with splashed mop water or residue. Floor cleaning remains at floor level, away from food and preparation areas.
Leg mounted mop sinks offer all of the size, capacity, drainage and functionality of floor mounted sinks, but at standard counter level.
